It was a glorious day here in Danville, California today. 65 degrees, sun shinning and warm enough to put the top down on my little convertible bug. Just lovely. I was tooling along Norris Road this morning about 8:15 and I noticed a group of wild geese were standing on the side of the road (a four lane road) thinking about crossing.
I stopped my bug, put on my hazards and waited patiently for them to make up their mind. One by one the other cars around me did the same and the little group of 12 Geese slowly, in a line, waddled their way along the payment towards the other side.
I have to say I was enjoying the moment. 10 plus strangers all taking just a moment to enjoy mother nature and taking a second in their busy days to watch 12 Geese cross the road.
When all of a sudden, two cars behind me decided to he had waited long enough and honked. I don't mean a tap, but a full fledge lay on the horn with all your might HONK!!!!!
Geese went flying, cars started moving, the lovely moment was gone, in a flash...
