Congratulations on Listing, Selling & Closing 6 Homes by July 19, 2013
My goal is to obtain 6 new listings of homes within the Cupertino Schools and have them all pending and closed by July 19, 2013.
Gee, it sounds so simple put that like. Of course, simple and easy are not the same things.
How to make the goal happen in reality…that’s another story. This is where reading Gary Keller's "The One Thing" book will be helpful. It's also time to break out my BOLD handbook and contact 100 people each week and ask them,
“Who’s the next person you know who’s thinking of selling in the next 30-90 days?”
When I contact 100 people each week, at least 1 or 2 wll become appointments. Appointments become clients. Clients sell, buy and invest-and I just need 6.
What?!? Congratulations to me?
You bet.
It's about visualization. You know, one of the keys to being successful is visualization of a result as reality today, so this contest is focused on just that. Congratulations to yourself. We all like to be acknowledged for completing a task and who better to congratulate you than YOU?
The challenge is for you to set a goal with a definite time for completion, ie..take 2 new listings a week for 6 weeks; or whatever you want to accomplish, and create a video of yourself congratulating.... yourself for accomplishing the goal.
Write a blog post outlining your goal and include the congratulatory video in the post. If you feel weird about congratulating yourself, film your spouse, your mother, father, good friend, etc congratulating you instead.

- Contest starts today and ends midnight, April 30th.
- Include a link to your post (which has your video in it) here in a comment on this post.
- All participants will receive 1,000 points.
- Have fun with it!
Don't forget to set an appointment on your calendar to go back and watch your video once your goal is completed.
