How I made 11200 points in one week

I joined the Activerain network last Thursday and I was delighted to find such a large network with professionals with one intention in mind: Real Estate.

I was excited and started immediately to share my thoughts with others.

I posted posted 13 blogs

I made 39 comments on pages which subject matter was SEO in the main.

I subscribed to one blog.

I invited 4 realtors to Activerain and 2 signed up

I added Activerain link to 15 of my own real estate website including my FREE real estate directory www.realout.com

THE RESULT

I am now a featured member for Huntsville Alabama real estate and Madison County, Alabama real estate

Friend, if you are new to Activerain, and you are somewhere at the bottom, do not loose hope. Start blogging, start commenting - share your knowledge with others. By engaging you will learn so much more and, yes, you will improve professional.

I have tried to link to my websites and I do, but have yet to receive points. guess I am doing something wrong

Debra, here is how you do the link thing.

Add one of the link some where on you website. You receive 400 to 600 points if you place the link on your HOME page and 200 points if it is placed on any other page other than the home page.

I prefer to use the small active rain icon. Add this code to the bottom of you page.

Then go to the link section on the left hand side of your Activerain account and place your webpage URL (address) where you place the link in the submit form

VOLIA... YOU are done. Activerain will take about 3-5 days to update your points

AL, i do not sell real estate. I do real estae advertising, SEO and advice realtors on marketing their real estate online

Just another reason why I love Active Rain. Now I have to figure a way to earn 11200 points a week like you did. And also link Active Rain to my website and earn some more points. For some reason,I just can't seem to get at least a telephone call from somebody. I need to come up with better blogs to post. Great post.

Hi: Most people who are reading posts on Active Rain are going to look at the posts you have written, and their quality and content, and also the points you have earned. After reviewing these three items, and perhaps other things in general, they would then make a judgement.

In my opinion, points are only a small part of Active Rain. The quality and the content of your posts and your comments are what is going to earn you respect.

The 7800 linking points are from various websites that i own. Some of them were one page website but dealing specifically with real estate

Pretty impressive point accumulation there. Even moreso because I imagine Huntsville Alabama is not a tiny market. Cool.
