Can I still Get a "Steal"?
Anyone who is in the Real Estate business or who has recently been looking to buy or sell a home in a Las Vegas Golf Community knows that the market has drastically changed since last year. I often forget that many people who are not actively looking for a home do not know what is happening right now.
So...The question is...Can I still "steal" a home in Sun City Aliante?
The answer is...Yes and No???
Let's start with the NO.
Prices of homes in The Sun City Aliante Age Qualified Golf Community have gone up on average 22% across the board since November and December of 2011, which looking back at it now marked the absolute bottom of the market. Resale inventory of homes in Sun City Aliante is way down. Currently we only have 15 homes listed for resale. The lack of inventory is a large part of what is pushing the market. This means that we now have to make much more competetive offers.
Now the Yes.
Houses in Sun City Aliante are currently selling for an average of $112 per square foot. Compare this number to the summer of 2006 when homes in this 55 plus golf community were selling for $185 per square foot on average!
What does this mean?
Prices are on the rise in Sun City Aliante and all other Las Vegas Age Qualified Golf Communities. Did you miss the boat if you did not buy in 2011? Maybe a little bit, but if you buy right now you will be looking like you got a "steal" next year at this time and in the years to come.
