Meeting with Financial Planners

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with LBD Digital Marketing

I recently (6 month's ago) received my CMPS Certification. After some delay or organizing of thoughts, have started to contact financial planners in my market place. I have 2 meeting scheduled next week and I am open to any suggestions for presentation or approach that would help me earn there vote of confidence as a potential resource for there clients needs.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Hi Mark,

I have not met with Financial Planners yet, either.  I plan to and would love to hear how successful your meetings are.   I have joined the local FPA chapter and I intend to go to their functions to meet financial planners.

Good luck!

The best thing I could tell you is this, don't go into the meeting thinking that you are the only one with something to gain.  You have the concepts and systems available now through mortgage planning to generate great referrals for these financial planners.  the key is, you need to present yourself as the true expert looking for a few key individuals to align yourself with.  They need to know in advance that you aren't looking for that "one way" referral avenue.  Now that you are meeting with buyers/clients and implementing your strategies you should have qualified clients to pass on to great financial planners.  Everyone you meet with will need a good financial plan aligned with your mortgage plan.
