Alberta to lead economy growth Alberta Growth is Leading the Country in 2014!!

Alberta economy will lead the Nation next year with a forecast growth of 4.0% according to the latest report released this month by RBC Economics!

This year Alberta ranked the second Canadian province in Real Gross Domestic Product growth with 3.0% behind Newfoundland & Labrador that saw 5.1% growth.  in Canada, the employment growth will improve to 1.5% this year and 1.3% in 2014, compared to the 1.2% in 2012.  

Unemployment rates in Alberta,  are expected to fall to 4.4% this year and 4.5% next year, from the previous 4.6% in 2012. The rates are just below Saskachewan's rate of 4.3% (for both 2013 & 2014). Saskatchewan is leading the country in 2013 and 2014 as the province with the lowest unemployment rate in Canada!
