Do you know someone who is always negative, always looking to bring other people down, always self-centered, or always just rude? (I bet you do!) There are, unfortunately, people in the world who are like this. We must know who they are and act accordingly with them. We must not allow them to interfere with our positive attitudes. We must not allow them to make us doubt ourselves or change our goals. We might not be able to change who they are or what they do, but we certainly can control our actions and reactions to them.
We are the only one that decides how our life will be; one day, one week, one month, one year at a time. Focus on the positive.
Always remember that the kind of life you have is a choice you make, every single day. You can choose to live a rich, meaningful, joyous life with ever higher goals. Or, you can choose to drag your feet in resistance and rebellion.
Which makes more sense? And what is your choice going to be as you begin this New Day in your life?
"This is the day which the LORD has made; Let us rejoice and be glad it it." Psalm 118:24
