It's been a crazy week of showing property and opening escrows so I haven't had the time to 
get this blog posted for y'all about the AWESOME time we had at the Fort Worth Main St Arts Festival.
We attended on Sunday this time since last year we went on Saturday and it was really hectic with an almost 2 year old and a stroller. I think that we missed out on a lot of great events and entertainment by not attending on Thursday and/or Friday also. Some really good bands played and the entertainment is so much fun!
Sunday we strolled through looking at all of the artwork, sculptures, kinetic art, paintings and more. I picked up a few new favorite artists' 
cards to remember for later when we finally decide how we're going to get our house decorated. I like to work pieces in slowly so I can make sure that I will LOVE them for a long time.
Our son really enjoyed watching the magician and juggler. I like that they get the kids involved. Oliver likes the kinetic art(whirligigs) made of glass and metal. I really like them too!!!
He also really loved that a little girl gave him her balloon animal, which promptly popped. We
then were on the hunt for the balloon animal artist and finally found him as we were leaving. Though the entire time we had to reassure him that we would find him another balloon. Parents out there, you know what I'm talking about ;)
