AZ Tattoo Expo
The Tattoo Expo will be all weekend long at Mesa Convention Center. This annual event will feature on-site tattooing and body piercing, more than 150 artists, several tattoo contests featuring celebrity judges.
Details: 3-11pm Friday, Noon-11pm Saturday and Noon-8pm on Sunday. Mesa Convention Center, 263 N Center St., Mesa. $20 daily or $16 in advance, $45 for weekend pass.

Cinco de Mayo Phoenix Festival
This is a two-day festival for the whole family. Event will feature nationally recognized musical performers, local legends, ballet folklorico, cultural food, family activities and vendors.
Details: 2pm-Midnight Saturday, Noon-10pm on Sunday. Van Buren and 2nd St, Phoenix. Admission $5, free for age 12 and younger.
Kentucky Derby Party
Turf Paradise is the place to be on Saturday as they celebrate the annual Run for the Roses at Churchill Downs. In addition to a simulcast of the Kentucky Derby, there will be a full day of live racing, a hat contest and buffet.

Cinco de Mayo Block Party in Scottsdale
Dos Gringos in Old Town Scottsdale will be hosting a Cinco de Mayo block party starting a 1pm with live music.
Details: Dos Gringos Old Town Scottsdale, 4209 N Craftsman Court. $10-$20.
Cinco de Drinko Block Party in Tempe
Tempe Block Party will be hosted by Canteen Modern Tequila Bar and Fat Tuesday. Party will be at the corner of Sixth Street and Mill and will feature several bars and entertainment.
Details: 11am-2am Sixth Street and Mill Ave., Tempe. No cover until 6p.m., cover will then start at $5 and increases throughout the night.
