Movies in the Park in Clarksville

It's that time again

and Clarksville Parks and Recreation presents for the 8th straight year, Movies in the Park in Clarksville. This FREE event is held at dusk in Heritage Park on Peachers Mill Road or Liberty Park on Cumberland Drive.

Bring your chairs

blankets, snacks and of course the whole family and come enjoy the movie. Additonal concessions will also be available. Come early and and participate in the "Move Before the Movies", activities designed to get the whole family up and moving. All movies will play with weather conditions permitting and are rated either PG or PG-13.

The season's first screening

is the movie Brave and will be showing this Saturday, May 4 at Heritage Park. Check the schedule below to see all the featured movies and their showing dates. The season continues until October 10. All scheduled showings are on Saturdays.

August 10– PEOPLE'S CHOICE at Liberty Park
August 31 – GONE WITH THE WIND at Liberty Park
October 19 – DOUBLE FEATURE: HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA & GHOSTBUSTERS at Liberty Park

I use to go to something very similar to this when I was growing up. I loved sitting outside watching the movies. Drive in movie theaters are a thing of the past, and this is the next best thing to that.
