It's May 4th weekend - are you looking for something to do in Rocky Mount, NC?

So you are looking for something to do this weekend.  Here are three events happening on May 4, 2013 right here in Rocky Mount.  Let's start with the Farmer's Market on Peachtree Street.  This weekend is Strawberry Jazz.  Lots of strawberries and music as well.

Now let's move on to Fun Run for Charities at the Imperial Centre on Gay Street.  Besides the actual run, those charities that will benefit from the fundraiser will be there to tell you more about their programs.  If you cannot make it out, donations will be accepted through May 31, 2013, online.  Remember that your charity will have a chance to receive a matching grant in accordance with what they raise.

Last, but not least, is the Nash Community College and Jack Laughery Ride for Knowledge at Harley Davidson of Rocky Mount on North Winstead Avenue.  Along with the ride, there will be plenty of other things to see and do.  There will be a silent auction, music, food and kid friendly activities.  The money goes toward scholarships at Nash Community College.
