A Day Late and a Dollar Baker's Dozen Short

I received this notice from the "Groupon"-esque platform PDX50.

Oh, did I mention that I received the email yesterday, May 4th.

This isn't the best screen cap -- but notice the AVAILABLE DATE -- April 30th.

I love Beaverton Bakery. I pass it when I go to the gym . . . I know, ironic!

When I read the subject of the email : $15 for $30 Worth of Baked Goods at Beaverton Bakery I thought -- hmmmmmmm, maybe I'll open this one, 'cause most times I never bother. But for the Beaverton Bakery . . . . . . .

Oh, the bittersweet disappointment:

~ Happy that I'm really not going to buy $30 worth of baked goods from the Beaverton Bakery for $15 -- that's my waist line talking!

~ Sad that I'm really not going to buy $30 worth of baked goods from the Beaverton Bakery for $15 -- that's my mouth talking!

Yes it sounded delicious but for healthy reasons, just as well that you didn't get them. I am sure some of your co-workers or clients would have helped you get rid of the cup cakes. The polka-dot cake she is icing in the picture is adorable.
