How Do You Wear Your Big "S"..We Were All Born With It..Needed In Life

Reblogger

This post is just brilliant and so I want as many people on the site as possible to wear that S proudly.  High five to Barbar Todaro for this post.

What’s more ludicrous than hearing a person say “I hate salesmen?”  We are all salespeople. We don’t need to work in that profession.  We were salespeople from the time we spoke our first words.  We all need to sell in order to survive, no matter what your profession.

We are selling ourselves; our product; our brand and our ideas.  We are selling in order to control our surroundings.  We are selling in order to interact with others.  We are selling us and sometimes others.  We were all born to be salespeople.

Some of us make a living from this trait.  It’s a trait.  It’s a feature we all have, and some work it and develop it to the nth degree.  Some don’t know how to work it, and they don’t understand how important it is to develop it properly and to its fullest extent.

Whether one is a “used car salesman” or a “real estate salesman” is of no consequence.  One may have a different style and that may result in a very different reputation.  We all start from step one, and where we end up is only a result of how we decided to develop that one trait in a specific manner.

Some of us wear the big “S” proudly and others not so much!!  The fact of this topic is that we are all wearing that “S” and I hope you are wearing yours as well as I feel I wear mine!!

Barbara is correct, we are all salespeople, whether we are laid back and relaxed or aggressive, get-it-done types! Thanks for furthering the reminder Liz! I hope you are enjoying your Sunday.

Zig Zieglar once said the same thing with the same analogy. Of course Barbara is always right on.
