If you are looking for a superb place to take Mom on Mother's Day look no further. Brasserie Persil is a wonderful French restaurant and they do brunch every Sunday. They also have a lunch and dinner menu.
I cannot praise this restaurant enough. The food is consistently spectacular and the service is the same. They also carry an extensive wine list.
