Dear TEXOMA HOME BUYER,
The countdown to closing has begun! Although I’m sure you’re looking forward to the big day, there are a few things that need to be taken care of before your closing date.
A few days before the closing, we’ll do a final walk–through of the TEXOMA home to make sure that everything is in working order and in line with the purchase agreement. If you have any final questions or concerns about the TEXOMA home – this will be the time to bring them up!
You will need to purchase homeowners insurance prior to the closing so make sure you meet with your TEXOMA agent as soon as possible so they can prepare the policy. You will need to bring the policy and the paid receipt to the closing most likely your lender will require this well before close as part of the closing package. Be prepared for this and we are here to help you with this as well. Just let us know how we can assist you.
Review the HUD–1 Settlement Statement, which itemizes the services provided and fees charged to you. We can get this the day before closing and I would be happy to review it with you. This will arrive several days ahead of time in most cases and we will review together and with your loan officer.
At the closing, need to bring a cashier’s check for the closing funds. I will let you know the exact amount well before the closing as will your loan officer if you are receiving a loan. It may also be good idea to bring copies of all the paperwork you’ve received from your lender.
