If you are a woman at midlife, there is no question that there are adjustments required to improve the quality of life and health at this time.

While there is increased awareness and helpful information, it can be difficult to access needed support. Solid Professional assistance can be lacking in knowledge and understanding of progressive integrative medicine & what is truly helpful.

Each woman must find her way - a time to call deeply into our own inner wisdom. For some the transition is a lonely journey.

Let's join our strengths together!

A longing for joining, support and understanding is at our core finding the new life of this process.

Meditation is a valuable tool promoting physical, mental and spiritual benefits. A Women's Midlife Support Group will gather:

  • weekly at the Yitung Buddhist Temple, a beautiful facility for gathering & meditation
  • for & by women at or nearing midlife, or beyond.
  • meditation, support, sharing
  • non-religious
  • By Donation

Deborah, what a wonderful support program! You need your girls around you at all stages of your life and I think this is great. If I wasn't so far away.......(is that a Susan Branch illustration? I love her work.)

Deborah, This does sound wonderful and it's always great to do things you enjoy and make new friends in the process.  I'd certainly be there if I were close by!

Hey Deb! I found that lovely piece on Photo Bucket and tried to find who the artist was, to no avail. I think I wouldn't mind having it actually, so I'll check your lead.

Actually Deb, one of the ladies there reminded me of you - do you see yourself?

For certain, women especially at this transitional stage need the support, because there is generally little understanding. I have talked to many that have a difficult time, finding themselves alone or just needing understanding support.

Carole I know you would love Yiyung Temple. It is terrific opportunity to join together and yes make friends. I have learned a lot on my journey - and would have appreciated joining with other women at midlife in meditation and support. I figure now I can put it out to the universe and offer others a place of sharing and support.

There is a need!

Hey Deborah -You are going to have a great time with your group.  I've been a part of a similar group since las  October and I love it.  Not only do I get benefits from meditation, I have wonderful new friends that I would have never met otherwise.

Great idea Deborah, and if I may suggest Milk Chocolate Calcium Chews ( with Vitamin D & K) as a part of the snack offering after this fellowship - a Yummy way to support skeletal changes and reduce the risk of osteoporosis. Costco and Sams have them!

Sincerely,

Grace

Deborah,  The support group for women is such a phenomenal idea.  Midlife is a period of transition in many ways.  You are so fortunate to have such a lovely place for meditation and meetings.  If I could join you I would!  I should!

Deborah,  I think one day we will meet!

What a wonderfull opportunity for the women in your community.  They are very fortunate to have the opportunity for meditation, health and support among other things in the beautiful Temple within their own community.  Keep up the good work!Meditation, heath, wisdom, support

Kathleen! These are marvelous delectable soft hearts! Women at midlife need to protect, strengthen and heal their hearts - part of the passage.

Thanks so much for the fun - yes one day huh!?

Hi Deborah, I am very interested i the group you are offering. Are you still running it? I just returned from England after being away for 7 months and I am looking to be part of such a supportive group.

I would like to great a meditation space  in a building I have in the property I won. That is an intention yet to begin, but I only returned 10 days ago.

Lets talk further...
