Jeremy Ranch is located about 15-20 minutes from Park City itself as well as being a quick 20 minute drive into the Salt Lake Valley. Due to this close distance to Salt Lake City it does serve as a bedroom community for many who work in Salt Lake but prefer to live in the mountains as opposed to the valley.
There are a number of different options in the Jeremy Ranch area including single family homes as well as townhomes. There are also several different subdivisions here including the gated subdivisions of The Trails at Jeremy Ranch, Moose Hollow and Jeremy Woods. Many homes in Jeremy Ranch have dramatic views of the surrounding mountains as well as golf course views. The Jeremy community is built around an 18 hole Arnold Palmer designed golf course that has been open for several weeks already this year. It is a private golf course, but an affordable option to the many other private courses in the Park City area.
Jeremy Ranch is convenient to pretty much everything and there is an elementary school at the bottom of the hill with a middle school just across the freeway in the Pinebrook area. Jeremy Ranch is also located just a few minutes from the Quarry Village Shopping Center with it's shops and restaurants as well as a large full service grocery store. Another 5 minutes up the road is Kimball Junction with an even larger assortment of stores, fast food eateries and another large grocery store.
There are currently 17 homes available in Jeremy Ranch. They range from a 5 bedroom/3 bath 4,600 square foot house for $639,000 to a 4 bedroom/5 bath 5,988 square foot house for $1,350,000. There is also one home that is a short sale and under third party review at this time that could still potentially be available.
Jeremy Ranch is very popular with families and those who desire to live in a more traditional neighborhood with mainly primary residents. I would recommend any families moving to the Park City area full time at least look at the Jeremy and Pinebrook areas to get a feel for everything that is available in Park City.
