I had two appointments in a row where I was able to give out several referrals to my customers. This felt great. First, I was helping my customers to make sure they have great contractors/service providers and secondly, I'm helping several of my colleagues so it feels doubly good. Some of these people I help all the time, others have given me more referrals (just by the nature of their biz), and so I was super happy to return the favor.
Both of these customers are preparing their homes to sell. One has already moved to Richmond; the other is hoping to move to South Carolina. One is a past customer from 5 yrs ago; the other person found me on Angie's list.
I was able to give out referrals to the following professions:
- Real estate agents - 2 (each one specialized in the particular town I was in)
- Plumber
- Tile reglazer
- Stager
- Organizer - I really hope my customer calls this person...because I can't refinish the floors until the whole place has been emptied out & there is a ton of stuff
- Painter
- Cleaner
I am also going to see if I can find a good real estate agent for the one moving to SC - not sure if there is someone from AR that I know in that county. And, I will see if we have a Floor Coverings International in those areas.
This made my day, and gave me a great excuse to call and touch base w/ many of my referral partners.
