I was privileged recently to be one of a few realtors who were escorted the Mayor Linda Hudson around the city of Fort Pierce FL. (Picture to the right)
We met at one of the city buildings where we went onto the roof top and saw the breath taking views of the inlet and the low level skyline.
After we mounted a city tour bus were we were guided through the streets of this historic city.
We rode past the newly remodeled marina with all the beautiful yachts and boats moored.
Then we rode paste new transit building located in the center of the city. Affixed to the building is a memorial of the Highway men and plaques with the names of all the original Highwaymen.
We then took a scenic walk along an internal waterway where they had the most picturesque benches.
Places to see in Fort Pierce FL include the infamous Sunrise Theatre built in 1923, the P.P. Cobb Building built in 1875, the Seven Gables Visitor Center built in 1905, City all built in 1926, Manatee Center open from October to June each year. Backus Galley featuring the works of the infamous works of Highwaymen and "Bean" Backus and his famous landscape paintings and so much more,
There was so much to see and so much to do we did not have time for it all.
If you are thinking of relocating to Fort Pierce or its neighboring city Port St Lucie give me a call.
