Kristin, I absolutely LOVE the zoo!  Any zoo.  My fave is the San Diego zoo, but the L. A. Zoo is great also.  Time to plan a trip.

Hi Jean, I agree, I have been to many zoos but the San Diego is my favorite. The panda and the elephant photos came from San Diego. Thanks for stopping.

Kristin, I guess we all agree that the San Diego Zoo is the best. I attribute it to the fact that they try to make the animal feel like they are in their own habitat  too bad they are in captivity for the public' pleasure...

Hi Cindy,

I think San Diego has one of largest zoos in the US and always working on it to make it better. I was last there in Aug 2012 and they were busy working on 2 big projects at the zoo but do not remember what they were. I do want to get to the National Zoo in Washington DC and to Disney World Animal Park as they are on my bucket list.

Hi David,

Yes both SD Parks are great and well worth spending the entire day at each park. I may go again this August to see what is new at San Diego.

Hi Laura,

We were so lucky to be there just after the birth of the newest panda baby but of course we couldn't see him but everyone was talking about him "little gift". You can tell the employees really like their jobs and care about the animals.

Hi Endre,

I prefer San Diego but that is probably because my parents always took me there from the time I was little but the LA Zoo is great too and I just posted it into your LA Realtor Group. Thanks for stopping by.

My life has been such a zoo the past couple of weeks that I hesitate to say I'd enjoy a visit to the zoo:-)  I have wanted to make a return visit to the fantastic San Diego Zoo however.  I haven't been there in years.

Hi Lisa,

We do have many zoos in our area and they all have great characteristics plus the children learn so much from going to visit as it teaches kids to love animals and be nice to them.
