Washington DC Metro Region Home Sales Statistics, April, 2013
There were 4,233 home sales during April in the Washington DC Metro Region. This total is the highest in three years. Condominiums and townhouses have posted the highest sale growth as they provide the most affordable housing options in the region.
Home sale prices continue to rise in the area. The largest percentage increases were in Maryland. The median sale price in Montgomery County, Maryland was $402,550, up 10.1% from April, 2012.
