I don't often attend local convention events however I just attended a 2 day event at a great location that I just had to review. The Lynnwood Convention Center is roughly 15 miles north of downtown Seattle and can handle up to 500 comfortably in the main room with another large room situated on the first floor. These rooms can also be divided into 4 separate rooms with separate entrances.
If you are looking for a venue with modern amenities, wide hallways and massive display areas look no farther. The only caveat is that parking may be an issue with events over 500. Several chain hotels are within walking distance and all have shuttle service to this event center. I counted 8 restaurants (including drive through) within walking distance for those needing a meal during breaks. Alderwood Mall and several other shopping venues are also located close by, for those not attending the event.
This is a well staffed modern facility is just seconds from the junction of Interstate 5 and 405 and is the most accessible event centers in Western Washington.
