Debuting in 1996, the SLO summer concert series in the plaza has grown from one concert in June, July and August, to a full schedule of a concert every Friday from June 14 to September 6 in Mission Plaza from 5 pm to 8 pm. Concerts in the Plaza has blossomed into what some call the best free party in town! You’re invited to join us for the kick-off on Friday June 14 at 5:00 p.m.
The summer concert series features the best local musicians from Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties. Local restaurants will provide snacks and food for hungry concert goers while Firestone Walker Brewery and Edna Valley Vineyard will supply beer and wine for purchase. Non-alcoholic beverages are provided as well. Bar and food vendors open at 5:00 pm.
