Florida Healthy Home Inspections provides mold remediation services following the guidelines established by the EPA and by the New York City Department of Health's Guidelines on Assessment and Remediation of Fungi in Indoor Environments.different sampling methods which can be used.

According to the EPA, "if visible mold is present it should be remediated. It is not always necessary to identify the mold unless for litigation, source of contamination is unclear, or health concerns are a problem."
