Proper Google+ Cross Linking For Website and Social Media

Last week I found out there are 4 pieces of code that need to be placed in your website pages when you want to connect to Google+. Course it is not necessary if you do this but it is advised if you do. Google has been very sketchy on all of this since the recent FTC investigation last winter and the Penguin updates.... its a mystery really.

But Facebook started doing this too with the Open Graph search updates. They are running a similar deal. There are some code structures that need to be included into your website pages so that Facebook and your website can actually talk to one another. This base model for Open Graph is really for web geeks only and it is kind of under the radar.

My research team has concluded that Google is envious of Facebook and its sudden rise to 800 million in its online traffic base. Google+ is fast on Facebooks heels. There is some serious envy going on here. And with the sudden rise of Yellow Pages sites popping up on Google it seems that the popular search engine is getting soft on including companies and is more in favor of directory sites only. The amount of directory sties on Google has exploded exponentially all across the board. I have seen this in just about every category.

Bing and Yahoo are staying out of this rat race and are remaining as traditional search engines.

This is just my take on it.... any thoughts out there?
