In the past I often opined that technology has gone too far and has taken us off the path of humanity and led us into an impenetrable rainforest of technological obsession.
I often long for the days when it was normal to interact with people face to facer instead of via social media.
And while the world still had all of the problems that diverse societies could fester, life still seemed to have a quiet, simple quality that made each day a special blessing.
With that being said, I depend on technology as much today as anyone. As a matter of fact, I am typing this post as I am waiting for my car to be serviced. What used to be “dead” time now allows me to broadcast to anyone that would have a look at my diatribe.
Yes I like things simple. But I also like to make the best use of my time.
