I LOVE older homes...this is beautiful!  Our houses in southern CA were built in 1943 and 1935 (old by today's standards).  But I really like the older, older homes...this one is beautiful!  I loved the tub with the claw legs.

Todd- I love it! How cool is that, a historic station all modernized. In Wellington the oldest house was build like in 1975! That is historic here, Hee, hee, :)

Tom - This is I think my favorite listing of all time, I have such a passion for this home. The history, the craftsmanship, this is the kind of home that when I retire, I hope to be able to afford!

Mary - They seem to hold up better than the new homes despite the cities saying we have to change our building standards. I would rather have a hundred year old home over a 20 year old home any day!

Nestor or Katerina - I can't even imagine having no older homes, that would depress me.

Maureen - The cool part is how well he did it, you can't really tell where one ends and the other begins, he really has done it that well.

Sara - If you ever make it this way, I promise to take you on a tour of our older neighborhoods. One day I hope to visit the east coast and see what real history is all about.
