First Area That Makes You Look like NADOTA

How is your area of Punctuality? Another possible term for this could be “keeping your word” In my 30+ years as a real estate agent punctuality has been one of my exceptional areas that really stood out. I would guess over 100 times I have gone to a home for a second or third time and when I arrive they look at their watch and say: “you are always on time.” That is another one of those NADOTA Not a Duplicate of the Average. This is an area where many people just downright discourteous or disrespectful of other peoples time…. Think about it you are not late for catching your airline flight, are you?  

To help in always beginning a habit today of being on time, leave early for appointments, and arrive five or 10 minutes early, always have a book or something in your car you can help get your mindset in check.

Second Area That Makes You Look like NADOTA

Every time you meet with a potential client or talk with them on the telephone for the first time. Mail them a handwritten thank you note that day. EXCEPT do not mail on Monday or Tuesday if you live in Phoenix because Tuesday and Wednesday are JUNK MAIL DAYS! Another time to send them a handwritten thank you note is when you have placed them under contract or closed the transaction.

Think about it when was the last time you received a handwritten thank you note from someone. We purchased a car over 28 years ago, and still today, Todd writes on a sheet of paper: happy birthday to each myself and my wife, and happy anniversary, and mails them to us.
