Open House Today - A beautiful day but no people in Southern California

As I sit today at my open house on a day with 81 degree weather, blue skies in Southern California I wonder why no one is visiting my open house.

Last weekend on Saturday I had over 65 people through.

Could the weather be too nice? I didn't think that was possible.

I have about 40 signs out directing people from all directions. There are a couple other open houses with a block or two so even more signs from other Realtors are out there.

With the buzz of the stimulus package and the amount of REO properties active, buyers are chomping at the bit. I get multiple sign calls daily.

So where are the buyers today?

I also am sitting at an Open House today (new Construction) only one couple thru, its a beautiful, sunny day 55 degrees, thats warm for st louis this time of year! It is supposed to be a high of 25 Sunday, so I know there won't be any buyers....what makes them decide on viewing homes, sure doesnt seem to be the weather. Good Luck!

Maybe because it is the first real nice sunny weekend in awhile, folks are out smelling the roses... Hope it picks up for you.

I must agree whole-heartedly with James. I hate that but you never know what kind of day it will be unless you go.

Adam, I did opens 2 weekends in a row 2/10 and 2/17. I had 8 the first day and 35 the second...with similar weather and identical advertising...go figure.
