ActiveRain Design Evolution

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Suplari, Inc.

Congratulations to the team here at ActiveRain and Market Leader that just launched the newly redesigned ActiveRain.  Today, we launched a new design and navigation and we will be improving each section of ActiveRain over time.  We had the ActiveRain Ambassadors beta test the new site for the past couple of weeks, so hopefully we have caught the majority of the kinks!

As you can see, the new design is much more modern with a simplified navigation, which will hopefully get you to the information you need and want faster.

In celebration of the new design, I thought it would be fun to look at the evolution of ActiveRain over the years.  I used the Internet Wayback Machine which saves screenshots of web sites over time.

What a change!  Pretty cool.

Nikesh-  I did have to look twice but when I realized that it wasn't my contacts, I took a look and like it.  The lines are crisp and clean.  I also love your "Internet wayback Machine."  I'd forgotten the "old" look.

I guess what you don't want to hear is HOW much I miss the days when we could not only know how many members were "online", but with one click see their faces and go and visit their blog and we had some fabulous real time conversations.  It was awesome.  Miss it.

Nikesh: For me, the new design was very intuitive to navigate and makes for a nice, professional presentation.  I'm sure that there are many more behind-the-scenes changes to come to build upon the strong foundation already in place.  Kudos to all involved, including the Ambassadors who provided honest (and probably conflicting) feedback.

I liked that in 2007 you have Jay and Francy and Tony.  Only 20,000 of us when I joined. Times change and improve, just like ActiveRain.

Niki, the new look is crisp - takes a little getting used to, but that's normal. Everything keeps changing, right? I love so many of the new features, including the blogging features and scheduling and making the Contests so easy to access. Thanks for keeping on making AR better and better - still and always the BEST place for real estate agents!
