Once again let me say how disappointed I am that so few home builders, or new home sales professionals avail themselves of the network and SEO strengths of Active Rain. From time to time I have posted the names and point totals of the top 25 Home Builder members of Active Rain, and frankly very few really make an effort.

So, if you know a home builder, or new home sales specialist, let them know the opportunity is wide open!

Hiya! The only thing I can say is that only a year ago (give or take a month) there were maybe two or three home builders on AR. You were one of them lol Nice list I should try harder to get some NE Ohio peeps in here.

Carole, I'd sure appreciate any assistance, I really think home builders are missing some terrific tools.

One, they can network with real estate professionals, the thing they most want in a down market.

Two, they can market directly to the consumer, without letting the newspaper extract thousands in advertising dollars.

I get frustrated hearing home builders talk themselves into a recession, while doing little to help the situation except to use the same methods they've used for decades.

I agree, what a shame more builders don't take advantage of Active Rain. I worked directly for a builder for 5 years, so I have a lot of contacts in the industry, especially sales staff. I will spread the word for sure!!
