As we get into spring, every day is a day of anticipation for the colors around us. I glanced up our front walk and the colors were fresh. Our azaleas are in bloom.
The laurel in the back are a bit more shaded so they will be out a little later and our Rhododendrons are ready to sprout shortly as well. We have color almost always from Late April to early October. We didn't do it ourselves, bit we try to maintain it.
More and more of our plants are coming into full bloom, the colors around our home are just amazing. I can see from the photo you are experiencing the same beauty.
And lovely they are too Ed.....I love seeing all of the color this time of year.
Ed, Love the azaleas! Liz has a bunch planted around our home, so we have white, yellow, red, pink, and some shades of red/pink I can't even name :) Bill

Roger, our laurel is a deep red but they won't bloom for a few more days.
BLiz, they are a hardy bush as well and take well to being shaped.

Ed, Spring is generally the most beautiful time of the year around here. Thanks, in large part, to the flowering rhodys and azaleas. They are so colorful.

Ed I have a couple of large Azaleas in my backyard the really came in beautiful this year. By the looks of your yard, you have a green thumb my friend.
