Utah Relocation Package: What’s a Mom to Do?

Our days are filled with a never ending story of hugs, kisses and teaching our children the many lessons they need to be productive in this amazing world we live in.  Whether our husband's are on active duty or are putting in a hard days work elsewhere, we as mom's are also putting in our long day of teaching, guiding, and lovingly nurturing our children and sometimes with that gift comes a moment when we need to surround ourselves with support, friendships and people who can really relate to:

Julie, These clubs are wonderful for both the mothers AND the children who can sometimes play together.  I've heard of moms joining together and starting new businesses from these clubs....wonderful information for you to share!

Julie, Mothers do not get near enough credit for the multiple hats they wear. I read once of all the categories they provide their families as far as occupations and if we had to pay them for all that work we could never afford them. I think husbands/fathers and children are very much indebted to Mom. Mothers Day is not nearly enough but hopefully we tell them we appreciate them every day. It's great your area has so many MOMS clubs.

JULIE - This is a very important post for people that are looking to relocate to your area.  What better way to meet people when you're new than to join one of these clubs where you will have an instant bond with the other members.  Nice job, Julie!

Julie...great information and I love how you laid it out! Can you tell me (without revealing State secrets) how you got the frame on the large pic. and how yout put in the small line of them and then framed it.

Julie, Your poem is just precious. I am sending this to my daughter, Melanie. Melanie was married to a man with 2 children on February 26, 2008. She already had 3!

Her life is so full it's amazing. I don't know how she does it! You sound like a wonderful mom and the kids are very lucky to have you. And, you're working, and you're writing, and you still sleep? Later in the rain, Deb

Julie- I love your poem! You are a great poet. There is no place on this planet where there is more support for moms than in Utah. I felt so supported as a mom of so many kids when I lived there. Many places I have lived they looked down on moms but not in Utah, the sacred calling of motherhood is esteemed there and any mother will be welcomed in Utah. Katerina

To Everyone: Please accept my apology for being behind in comments. You are all so appreciated for the continued support that you give me.

Carole: Thank you for your wonderful comment. I'm not so sure how I came across these wonderful sites and after making a personal contact to each of the clubs I knew that I wanted to post this. Each club offers such an incredible amount of support. I want to also post on dads clubs and singles. That will be upcoming.

Gary: I knew you would have such an incredible comment to leave about moms. You have it so right! My mom has always been my angel and she still continues to this day to be so protective of me. If I put a dollar amount on all that she has done for me throughout my life, I would be exactly what you said, "forever indebted". Thank you for your kind comment.

Adam: I so agree with you. Often times it's so uncomfortable for people to meet others in their community and these MOMS Clubs provide such a great support system. Thank you for your wonderful comment my friend.

Bill: Thank you very much for your great comment. This will be an excellent way for moms to get out in their community and not fill any guilt at all because they will have their children with them. They have MOMS Clubs throughout the US too. I should actually add that to the post, hmmm.

Margaret: Thank you my friend for your wonderful support. When my sweet hubby was the only one working and I was at home all day with my boys, this would have been a fantastic support group to get involved in. I would even love this for my little girl right now, but when business picks up so much, well, you get the idea.

Teri: How true your words are. That is why God gave us the gift of being incredible multi taskers. Thank you for your great comment.

Joan: Thank YOU and as far as the picts are concerned. Yes I will help you. It's so easy and you'll love it. I will send you a separate email and at the same time maybe I ought to post about that.

Gayle: Thank you kindly my friend for your comment and you are right, there are many wonderful resources for us all to get a hold of for our locals.

Debra: You are such an incredibly kind person. Thank you so much for your very kind comment and compliment. I hope your daughter enjoys this too. She does have her hands full, but she will be blessed in many, many ways. Life is busy for sure. Big hugs to you!

Katerina: Thank you so much my friend. You have had the experience of living in Utah first hand and I love your very positive comments on all my posts. Utah does have many support groups and community involvement opportunities. It's always a gift to see you visit and it will be a treasure to finally meet you in person.

Melissa: I just adore you and thank you so much for your very kind comment. You should check out the MOMS Clubs in TN. I'll bet you have them. That is so funny that you mention the guys. I have a highlight for the men to join in a dads club too and singles. Hmmmm...these lists go on and on. Big hugs to you!

Julie, this is really good information for a Mom.  I think sometimes Mom is the one who really slips through the cracks when you make a move (I'm speaking from experience here). Dad has his job, the kids quickly find other kids and wow where's Mom.
