This week on the radio....

So this week, my blog will actually form the basis for a complete segment as we discuss exactly what is wrong with Realtors and Mortgage professionals. If you don't know what I'm talking about then please check out What the heck is wrong with Realtors? and What the heck is wrong with Realtors? - Part 2

In addition to that we will be looking at the President's so called stimulus package and see how it might effect the real estate industry. At the same time we'll be looking at a judge who won't let homeowners buy loans at bankruptcy auctions and how some cities are fighting a glut of vacant homes.

On insurance we will be looking at how the insurance industry found loopholes in Florida's one year old law designed to cut premiums. We look at two days of Senate hearings and examine the results. Allstate Floridian whined about diminishing capital while at the same time dumping tens of thousands of policy holders. Huh? OK, that's not just me then.

We have a story from the Wall Street Journal which suggests that speculators may have accelerated the housing downturn. Now if this wasn't the Wall Street Journal, I'd be tempted to say "well DUH!".
