Swim Season 2013, Clarksville Are You Ready to Dive In?

The Summer pools

will be opening Memorial Day Weekend and Clarksville residents have many choices of pools and locations.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department

has been hard at work freshening up the pool deckings and grounds, cleaning pools and getting stocked up and ready for the crowds that will converge on Saturday May 25.

You can purchase

a season pass with a discount for families or pay as you go. Check here to see current rates. Daily admission is $5. There is even a late afternoon swim with a discounted entry price of $3.

Bel-Aire Pool-124 Marie Drive

New Providence Pool-166 Cunningham Lane

Silvia, I remember it too and remember taking my kids for swimming lessons and to meet friends.

Kevin, It is the largest pool in the area and they all offer something different.

John, That is a surprise that backyard pools are not the norm in Albuquerque NM. When it's hot you can't keep the swimmers out.

Jennifer, Temps were near 90 so people were asking when do the pools open.

Michael, They fees aren't bad. When my kids were little they were $30. LOL

Noah, That would be great. We only have one train and it moves zinc and sheetrock back and forth. Times have changed.

Dorie, I would definitely pay that fee to have all summer long swimming for my family.

Roger, When I was growing up I would go everyday if I could.

Al and Peggy, Even one pool has a water slide, that should be fun for the families too.

Chris and Dick, I agree that they don't need to stay inside they need to be out doing something.
