Funny - The best/awful story I heard was in our area. An agent shows a home, sets cell keys, etc. on a countertop in the kitchen. Clients leave the home as that was the last of the journey & they have their own car. The agent goes out to the backyard & yes the patio door closes and she is locked out. Of course the 8 foot fence is locked and no way to get out. The home is vacant. She eventually climbs the fence and when you jumps down she breaks her leg. Now in pain she calls for help but it is during a business week and no one hears her. Out of desperation she pulls herself on the ground, as she cannot put any pressure on her leg, to the front of the house. As she is little by little inching to the front of the home the sprinkler system comes on and soaks her. Eventually wet, dirty and in pain she gets to the front where a passing car was flagged and called for help. As she tells the story - she will never put her things down again.
Connie: Wow, that story makes the astronaut's dilemma seem tame. The human condition is THAT ~ we are human, not perfect, and I think we are our harshest critics some days.
Wanda: A REAL Houston we have a problem moment!!
That is why one never should set anything, especially keys anywhere in the house. I keep them in my hand or in my pocket so the last thing I do is to put the keys back in the lockbox. I know for certain that the first time I set the keys down, I will lock them in the house. I am still trying to figure out what the astronaut forgot. Must have forgotten to read the checklist.
Gary, that is soooo funny, but I gotta tell ya, I laughed way too hard at Connie's story. Of course, it wasn't funny for that agent at the time.
I hope you are having an outstanding week. I always appreciate your comments on my blogs.
Gary -- can't he just knock on the door to have his associate open the door?
Gary: Learned that lesson many years ago. Its a bummer when it does happen though!
Funny...I am great at locking my keys in my car. My wife is not so amused.
Oh that's funny! I am running with only one set of keys right now and this makes me scared, need to get that other key
LOL. That reminds me of the time I locked my keys in the car...with the engine running.
Gary, your astronaut is pretty funny, but I think Connie's story tops it!
Gary
A photo or video can be worth a 1000 words.
Good luck and success.

Gary,
If NASA sees this it will cost us another billion dollars to correct this for future launches.
Rich
Oh my. Where did you get that picture of me? My husband gave it to you, didn't he?!
Gary, if Einstein could forget how to find his way home, then well, WE can forgive ourselves for those less-than-stellar mental moments, can't we??
