Lebanon Adds Country Music Festival to 2013 Festival Slate!
Are you ready for the first ever Lebanon Country Music Festival? That's right, Lebanon is already home to Country Applefest, Lebanon Blues Festival, The Christmas Horse Drawn Carriage Parades and more, but more just isn't enough! We need MORE festivals, so June 8th this year the inaugural Lebanon Country Music Festival will be held on Mulberry Street in historic downtown Lebanon! And they plan to continue the Lebanon Country Music Festival the 2nd Saturday in June each year.
Admission is FREE! That's a great price isn't it??
Now since this is inaugural, we don't have any pictures of past festivals to show you, so you'll just have to settle for a country road picture instead!
Now you probably already know Lebanon has a history with country music, and the Lebanon Grand Opry holds regular performances of local country music, so of course they've got a hand to play in the Lebanon Country Music Festival!
There will be 8 bands performing from 11 a.m. until almost 11 p.m.
Scheduled bands: Mackenna & Shelby, John Irwin Band, Breckenridge, Dry Run Band, Jessie Lyn (at the Lebanon Grand Opry House), Brimstone, Pistol Holler and to wrap up the evening the Dallas Moore Band!
Of course there will be food & other vendors present on Mulberry Street! Parking is available in the municipal lots or on the streets. If you're willing to do some walking, you can park for free within a few blocks or so.
Expect it to be warm, so watch out for sunburn. And if you want to live on the wild side, they'll have mechanical bull rides available!
