It's Bath Day for the Hummingbirds

I noticed yesterday that a family of hummingbirds were in my fountain taking a bath. It was so funny to watch them. They hung out about 10 minutes.

Hi Will,

I rarely see them in the fountain but for some reason on this day, they just played and played and seemed oblivious that I was standing there watching them and taking pictures. Thanks for stopping.

My kittens were acquainting themselves with my backyard this morning, when a hummingbird flew by. Each thing that moves is of such intense interest to the two of them. It was fun watching them discover flies, flowers, grass, and hummingbirds.

Hello Myrl,

I love to watch nature interact with each other except of course when the red hawks stake out my yard waiting for the mourning doves to fly to the feeders. My dogs love to chance the hummingbirds and then the birds turn around and dive bomb them.....look at the dogs run.

Hi Jeanne & Ralph,

It was fun to watch and nature gives me such joy. I think they like the top as it bubbles up and is not real strong of force. The birds in my yard like to sit on the edges and drink the water too.
