One of the benefits of living in South West Florida is the abundance of outstanding restaurants. The majority of my personal favorites are those that offer outdoor eating and have a nice view.
One of my favorite restaurants because of their view is "The Turtle Club" located at the Vanderbilt Beach Club. What is so nice about this restaurant besides the good food is that their "outdoor" eating area is directly on Vanderbilt Beach. As you sit there eating your food, you have an awesome view of the Gulf of Mexico and the sunbathers on the beach.
From Ft. Myers Beach going South into Naples, there are only a few restaurants which sit directly on the beach and give you awesome views.
Next time you are visiting Naples or Ft. Myers, Florida ... I strongly recommend that you make a visit to "The Turtle Club". It is located on Vanderbilt Beach in Collier County, Florida (Naples). You will not be disappointed.
