CNBC reports that we are awaiting the monthly Case-Shiller report on home prices. The housing data is due out at 9am Eastern Time this morning. The Case-Shiller report is based upon a continued study of a 20-city index. Economists are expecting a hefty gain in home prices for March compared to March of 2012, a 10.3 percent jump in home prices for March 2013 over last year is anticipated.
In February 2013 a 9.3 year over year gain was reported, it is believed that the upward trend will continue.
