Music Al-Fresco, The Hartford Symphony's Talcott Mountain Summer Music Festival
The Talcott Mountain Music Festival in Simsbury CT, consists of 6 evenings of Music across 6 weeks with music provided by the Hartford Symphony Orchestra. The musical stylings are all different as the concert series features of performances ranging from Classical; patriotic American; big band vocalists and movie themes.
People bring their picnic dinners and snacks with their favorite beverages and lounge on the grass and listen to the sounds from the band-shell. Toes tap, even some dancing, but all have a wonderful evening and mother Nature usually assists with a sky full of stars.
There is nothing like spending an evening under a canopy of stars, while professionals entertain on a Friday evenings to a few thousand of their closest admirers.
