Well I posted a blog last week about how the real estate industry is going paperless..Or so it seems it may..

I told everyone to leave their comments and opinions and that I would follow up on what everyone had to say..For the most part it seems that the paper trails are greater than before, and there is a great mix as too if we should go completely paperless or not..I guess for now only time will tell us that answer..From the input that I had recieved both in emails and posts it seems the feelings are half and half as to where we might go in the future..I'm sure only positive things will come in the future of real estate..Thank all of you who participated and gave your opinions in this matter..Bye for now!!

2 Comments on Follow Up On Paperless Industry

Geee, I didn't get to see your other blog on this topic. But my take is that it will never be paperless. I worked in the high tech arena for 30 years and we were never able to get things paperless. Close but no cigar. Besides there's no media that's ever been created that lasts as long as paper! At least in terms of in a useable format. High tech changes so rapidly and often that tens of thousand of years from now they would be useless. However take look at the oldest known documents in the world...the dead sea scrolls. Look at how long they have lasted.

I've been paying on my mortgage for so long, I'm sure the paperwork is on parchment...
