The 31st annual SF Jazz Festival, June 12-23, 2013, is just around the corner and tickets are on sale and going fast.
Many of the performances will be held in the new SF Jazz Center, the first-of-its-kind performance center built specifically to showcase jazz. Located at 201 Franklin Street, it is in the heart of Hayes Valley, close to the Civic Center, SF Symphony Hall, bus transportation, parking lots and restaurants -- all you need for an evening of music is close at hand.
Performers include the Stefano Bollani Trio, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Pacific Mambo Orchestra and many other performers and groups including one of my favorites, the Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir.
