Ever noticed there are some homes that give you the house showing blues. No matter what and where you advertize the home just doesn’t seem to get the response from people that you intended it to do. So what do you do? Most call it a lost cause and blame it on the home, so even go so far to say it’s cursed. I say keep a WILL DO attitude.
WILL DO ATTITUDE
House showings are not just based on the home and the features of the home, there is so much more. If you believe in your listing it shows in your verbiage in your ads, descriptions, and tone when you speak about the home. I walk in to the home strip off my jacket and say "I WILL SELL YOU". Then I go through every room and make sure I once over it again just in case I missed something unique that may stand out. Then go back to the drawing board, redo all your ads, your flyers, your emails, virtual tours, and brochures.
A positive outlook and great networking always pull through in the end with the right price of course. Remember subdivisions, trends, and market has a major factor also. So talk to your seller about this and see if you are in the range to blast off. Sometimes it helps if you invite the seller to stop by your house showing and act as a buyer to see what type of people they are or aren’t generating and what you both can do to fix it. Point is there are so many new ways to touch people and bring them in just find the nitch and don’t give up till you do. That hard sale should never be pushed back on your to do list. Never lose focus and push. You WILL DO it.
