4 Comments on Eagles In Connecticut? It's an Annual Event!
George,
Yes, the Eagle Festival is on Main Street with our agency being the "Welcome Center" They will have tentson the Town Green (with exhibits etc.) and a large tent on the Connecticut River at the Museum where they will have the main talks and Eagle viewing. Each year that I have attended, I've been able to spot Eagles from the spotting scopes across the river on the other side. You can also take a tour boat to get even closer to the Eagles. February is definititely the peak time for the birds to be in the area.
