Fear is spread through ignorance...ergo refusal to learn is a contagious disease that degrades us all.

Fear is utilized to sell way too many products and services. I staunchly avoid it. Some hold so tightly to their fear it defines them as humans. Sadly many will never release themselves from its grip because they'd have to reformulate their perceptions of reality. It behooves us all to challenge our fears and hold them to the light of day. We should all reread Don Quixote, and realize, as we should daily, there is nothing to be afraid of and there is nothing new under the sun.
