The New Way to Market Realtor Opens!!!

Hey Active Rain Friends,

Well Just thought i would share a very helpful tool that i found to be pretty useful. Well i was planning on doing a Realtor open house and i was searching for some kind of email flier and i ran into evite. Evite is pretty much an on-line invitation that can be sent out to your email contacts. The reason why i like it so much is because for one it is a free marketing tool and two, because of its features.

They have many invitation Designs to choose from for your diff. occasions. I decided to go with Design your own. It then allows you to choose your background color and then allows you to add a main image. For this step, i added the picture of the house i was doing an open house for. It allows you to place one main image and two smaller size images.

Next you type in all the details about the occasion. I pretty much put in the who, when where, what, type info and a description of the house and what was going to be served at the open house.

Lastly, it allows you to plug in your emails to who you would like to send the evite to. I sent it to all the 70 agents in my office and got a good response. I am also planing to contact other real estate offices in the area and email it to their front desk and ask them to blast it to their agents.

The reason why i love this so much is because it looks nice and it allows you to see how many people will actually attend and who will not. Traditionally agents email Realtor open houses by an attachment and that is good but many Realtors won't even take the time to open it up, but the evite has more of a personal touch and it is displayed as soon as you click on the subject line. You can also send an invitation to your seller and i promise, they will love it!!

Thanks for the info. I am a independent broker and I would like to sent to all the independent brokers in my local board a invitation to attend a networking meeting. I now know that I can do this and not spend a fortune.

Leo - We have been using Evite for awhile. It's very useful! We mainly use it in-house to try and get agents to attend Broker's open houses. We have almost 500 agents in our office. This saves time and $$$$.

Thanks for this post. I bookmarked it for future reference. I've been looking for something like this that I can use for my email program. I feel like a dinosaur working with white screen background. I'm going to look further into this tomorrow. I also just started using Postlets.
