Not sure what to do when the weather turns bad? Here are 10 safety tips to live by.
- Always stay indoors, there could be flying debris, lighting & strong winds.
- Stay away from windows. Strong winds & debris could break windows.
- Do not drive. Flash Flooding could happen.
- Unplug electrical devices. There is a lot of electrical activity in a storm waiting to be released.
- Stay off the phone. Landlines should be used for emergency
- Have bottled water just in case water pressure is lost.
- Bring our pets inside.
- Remove potential debris, this includes lawn furniture, grills & any other item that could be blow around
