if you are looking for a place to call home that is away from the big city chaos but still has plenty of amenities.
Alpine is a wonderful community with plenty to offer. Come check out the lovely village atmosphere and all Alpine has to offer. I have lived here for 18 years and it is only a 30 minute drive in to San Diego and the beaches.
If I want to go shopping for clothing or other essentials, I go out to the Viejas shopping mall just 5 miles from my home. For any other needs I may have there are plenty of other choices. We have a hardware store, 2 pharmacies, our own micro brewery, a farmer's market at the CVS parking lot on Tuesdays, a major grocery store, pet and feed stores and 2 hotels.
Curious about what types of dining we have? What do you enjoy? There are two Chinese/Sushi restaurants, several Mexican food places that give you a choice of quick or sit down atmospheres, Italian food, Mediterranean food and fast food places. If you go out to the Viejas Casino there are even more choices. You can have a lovely steak dinner, go to the buffet or check out any of the other places dispersed throughout the shopping mall.
Looking for late night entertainment? There is a bowling alley out at the shopping mall as well.
