According to the Greater Hudson Valley Multiple Listing Service, the median sale price of a home in 2007 for the area of Shawangunk (Wallkill) was $279,500, the average sale price was $293,857.  This figure is down from 2006 by 3.4 percent.  There were 102 residential sales in the area for the year 2007.
